Trusted Faithfulness

Faithful = trustworthy, reliable, dependable
God is faithful to keep His promises! (Deuteronomy 7:9, Hebrews 10:23, Numbers 23:19)
Faithfulness involves using everything God gives us for His purposes and glory.
Faith yields faithfulness!  As we grow in trusting God, we must be growing in trustworthiness.

Cultivate Jesus’ faithfulness by the power of the Holy Spirit!

  1. We are entrusted stewards

Everything we have comes from God! (1 Chronicles 29:11-14)
We are stewards of our lives, bodies, money, possessions, time, energy, abilities, jobs, ministries, relationships, circumstances…
A steward must be faithful in caring for what does not belong to him. (1 Corinthians 4:2)

  1. We are accountable servants

We will give account to our Master. (Romans 14:12, Hebrews 4:13)

Good and faithful service:

  • Works to serve the master
  • Is not hindered by fear
  • Is more than good intentions
  • Gets busy doing the right things
  • Will be rewarded with responsibility
  1. We have limited resources

Don’t waste what God has given for what doesn’t matter!

  • God has equipped you according to your ability!
  • God has enabled you with abundance!
  • Faithfully pursue your responsibilities with joy and assurance!
