• With proper desires – examine yourself
• With proper pursuit – examine Jesus

Light reveals truth!

2. Escape the Son’s coming judgment 21-30

Believe, or die in your sins!

• Jesus is “I Am.”
• Jesus knows the filth of our sin.
• We deserve eternal wrath!
• God desires our rescue!

Light exposes sin!

3. Abide as the Father’s free son 31-38

Is there hope when we’re stuck?

• Everyone who sins is a SLAVE to sin.
• Freedom is having the right master!
• God invites us in as SONS!
• A disciple is a devoted follower!

Light enables freedom!
