Just Enough for Today

Humble yourself under God’s mighty hand!

  1. Who allows our rejection 8-9

God might be leading us to connect with and invest in someone unexpected!
God uses Israel’s rejection to take the message to Gentiles. (Luke 4:23-26, they were going to kill Jesus! Romans 11:11, Acts 11:18)
God won’t force our faith… but He will bypass those who reject Him.

  1. Who tests our faith 10-13, 14

Don’t let fear hinder your abiding trust in the Lord!
Faith is anchored in God’s Word.  Trust and act on God’s truth and promises!
Offer to God all you are and all you have!

  1. Who cultivates our dependence 10, 14-16

Don’t anchor your security in abundance, but in God’s sufficiency!
Better is a little with the fear of the Lord!  –Proverbs 15:16
Depend not on God’s provision, but on God Himself, our Provider!
