Jesus reconciles sinners to God!

1. Payment to God 

Consider the cost paid by Jesus!
God is serious about sin!
Jesus paid our penalty in full, satisfying the Father’s wrath!

2. Peace with God

Consider the value placed on us!
Jesus, highest ranking and fully God, gave Himself for sinners!
Jesus pursued us (Luke 19:10), and signed the peace treaty in His blood!

3. Pleasure for God

Consider God’s delight in our reconciliation through Jesus!
He has joy in our repentance! (Ezekiel 18:23, Luke 15:7)
He continues to work His pleasure in us! (Philippians 2:13)
We, too, can enjoy God! (Psalm 16:11)
